Employed in the Postal Service. Son of Mrs. Jane M’Leod, 5 Achiltibuie.

 

Joined the Scouts June, 1913
Mobilized 4th Aug. 1914.
Served in Dardanelles, Egypt and Salonika -
Died of Dysentery at sea in the Hospital Ship Essiquibo 16th Nov. 1916.

 

“We therefore commit his body to the deep, to be turned into corruption, looking for the resurrection of the body (when the sea shall give up her dead) and the life of the world to come.”

– Words used at the burial of the dead at seas.
