Aged 28

 

Son of Mr. Neil M'Leod, Polbain, Achiltibuie.

 

Emigrated to Canada and took up ranching in Montana.  
Joined the Royal Engineers in Montreal April, 1916.
Crossed to Britain. Was taken ill on the voyage and died in Ruchill Hospital, Glasgow. 6th Sept. 1919.

 

Had one brother serving-

  • Donald M'Leod, 4th Seaforths. Wounded and taken prisoner in 1917.
