Trade. - A Baker. Son of Mr. Duncan Maclean, West Terrace, Ullapool.

 

Joined the Royal Field Artillery 1917
Killed in action in France 21st Mar. 1918

 

He left a widow and two children.

 

Had two brother serving-

  • Sgt. Duncan Maclean, D.C.M., 7th Seaforths. Wounded.
  • William Maclean, Labour Corps.

The official records state that he died on the 18th of June 1918 and not on the 21st of March as stated above.

His grave carries the following inscription: "THY WILL BE DONE."
