Aged 20

 

Shop Assistant in Ullapool. Son of Mr. Kenneth Maclean, Shore Street, Ullapool.

 

Enlisted in the 7th Seaforths 22nd Mar. 1915.
Proceeded to France July, 1915.
Killed in action in the Battle of the Somme 14th Oct. 1916.

 

Had two brothers serving -

  • Pte. Duncan Maclean, 4th Seaforths.
  • Pte. Alexander Maclean, A. & S. H. Killed.

“RODERICK DIED OF WOUNDS IN FRANCE
14TH OCT. 1916, AGED 20 YEARS.”
